My Opinion about this quote is that Abraham Lincoln wasn't a bad man for real he wasn't, he was very true to his words and actions along with that is his people loved him so, i mean he was honest man how can you not follow him but back to the quote i understand it completely, basically that you have to stick with what you feel what is right even if your wrong its what you thing is true
